It is finally safe for me to reveal the piece I have been working on for the last little while, a small installation that was commissioned as a gift for a friend’s mother, the talented Megan Hicks. Megan has just completed her PhD on pavement graffiti, this work was a response to her writing (and to our shared fascination with bluebottles). The post on her blog that most inspired me can be found here, and her gratifying and elegant response to the work here.

It was a great pleasure to conceive and realise this piece, I hope that it brings her as much pleasure.
